Sleeping bag designed for extreme cold weather conditions
Made of waterproof material and padded or insulated for heat retention.
Designed to protect personnel sleeping outdoors from cold and dampness or moisture.
It is a mummy style with a draw cord hood and is 84 inches long, 30 inches wide at the top, and 14 inches at the bottom, weighing 10 pounds.
The sleeping bag is made of water-repellent poplin cotton outer shell with 80% down and 20% polyester filling, and it includes a 64-inch long zipper, offset stitching at the seams, and a 3-inch storm flap with snaps over the zipper rated for -20°F.
This particular model was not issued with a carrying bag; however, the carry bag shown in the pictures is included with this listing.
Color: drab olive green
Based on the "83" in the contract number "DLA100-83-C-4174" on the tag inside, this was made in the early 80s.
Made in the USA.
It has a four-inch stain on the back.
